Important Field Information

Attention all Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers, If a field is unplayable the game will be rescheduled. Under no circumstances can goals be moved and a field created on empty space without approval of the Division Manager and the Board. Doing so creates a host of potential liability and land use issues. All our fields must be registered with the State for insurance purposes. All of our fields are under the control of other governing agencies and we must operate under the conditions of those contracts and permits. No coach or team may simply create a new field without approval to ensure protection and safety of our players, to maintain insurance coverage and to ensure we operate within the terms of any applicable contracts and permits. Simply stated this is a critical safety, liability and legal issue and can not happen. SOCS Board May 19th 2009 |
